About Us

Founded in 2011, Dig Landscape Design is owned and operated by Justin Hungerford, a fully qualified landscape designer, structural landscaper and horticulturalist.

A proud member of LNA Master Landscapers Association and the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers (AILDM), Justin has 20 + years of experience designing, constructing and maintaining cool-climate gardens.  His portfolio includes many standout gardens throughout the Blue Mountains.

Drawing on his extensive understanding of design principles, Justin loves collaborating with clients to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces that capture the uniqueness of each site and each client.

Our Team

Dig Landscape Design employs a small team of qualified tradespeople and specialists who share this passion and professionalism.

Josh

Our site foreman, Josh is a fantastic organiser and leader. Josh obtained his Cert III of Landscape Construction in 2012 and has been part of the team since 2014. Josh is a considerate, approachable professional who enjoys exceeding client’s expectations.

Tom

Our landscape tradesman, Tom is a super talented, fully qualified Landscaper and Horticulturalist and has been with Dig since 2016. Tom is known for his attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and positive attitude.

Lachlan

Our apprentice landscaper, Lachie has a great eye for detail and is already showing awesome talent especially with stone work.  Lachie joined the team in 2018 and is a friendly, hard-working young man who is keen to make his mark.

Dan

Dan is a qualified landscape designer with 20+ years working in New Zealand and Australia, Dan is a great problem solver when faced with challenging sites and collaborates with Justin to bring dreams into reality by providing detailed CAD landscape designs.
